Before landing on this page, you and I were only separated by a mere three degrees. Now we can be one on the web. That's not the definition of technological singularity but it should be.
With this tumblog, I promise kittens and balls of yarn for the kittens to play with. There will be some making out and a lot of hand-holding. I hope that when you are lonely and lost on the outmost corners of the interweb, you can come here and find yrself and feel the good vibrations. You are special and no one can touch that!
Your Pal Mal
I think I’ve been using the term Rainbow Rock wrong all along.
From what I can make out, C.L.U.E. incorporates the idea of site-specific performance with color adaptation, mimicing a living organism. A.L. Steiner and Robbinschild have edited the taping of their world travels to create a coreographed color-segmented piece matched to the instrumental rock score of Seattle band, Kinski. You can watch the video unfold for free by peering into the New Museum from outside on any given sunset Wednesday to Sunday. The next indoor performance is on Saturday, December 13th at 2 p.m, taking place in the lobby, galleries, Shaft Project Space, and on the 7th floor. I’ve been told to watch out for nudity, so that’s cool, I guess.
